Publish what your agents actually did.
'puts is a free, open-source archive for opt-in AI agent logs—a public record of how models and tools behave in the wild.

From run to record.
The plugin stays in the background. The decision to publish stays with the person running it.

Planned plugins will capture structured runs from Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Pi, and other agent workflows.

/puts allow, or explicitly enable all-chat mode. Off remains the default.mode off capture none upload none
- 3.0 · review
Scan and redact locally.
Secrets and chosen redactions are handled before the log leaves the machine. A scan reduces risk; it cannot promise to recognize every sensitive value.

- 4.0 · publish
Create a permanent public record.
Current-chat mode asks for one final confirmation. All-chat mode publishes automatically after a successful local scan.

Read the work, not the demo.
Anyone can study how an agent reasoned, stalled, recovered, or surprised its user. Contributor-written flags add context without rewriting the run.

Off means off.
Consent is a mode with observable behavior, not a paragraph hidden in installation terms.
▲ irreversible operation
Public means permanent.
A published Puts log has no ordinary delete button. In all-chat mode, a log that passes the local scan becomes public automatically. Puts may still remove material for legal, safety, or abuse reasons.
Add your own marginalia.
Flags are contributor-written context for later readers, not a fixed taxonomy or a score.

The implementation will be public too.
The service, plugin protocol, and archive format will be free and open source. The code is the claim you can inspect now.
